the improved turbocharger with turbine wheels from a titano-aluminum alloy and the adapted steering of the engine.
use of an innovative titano-aluminum alloy reduces weight of a turbine and compressor wheel. Moment of inertia of weights as a result decreases and, thus, time of the response of the engine is reduced.
Thanks to the modernized unit, in mode Launch Control the most powerful Panamera is capable to be dispersed from 0 to 100 km/h of all for 3,8 sec, and the maximum speed of model is equal 306 km/h (at 500-strong Turbo indicators hardly were more modest: 4,2 sec and 303 km/h). And, despite such tremendous dynamics, fuel consumption Panamera Turbo S still is at rather low level – at use of special 19-inch tire covers Michelin with low rolling resistance it makes only 11,3 l on 100 km (with usual rubber – 11,5).
