0 New Subaru WRX S4

In Japan Subaru company presented two new models: WRX S4 and WRX STI Type S. The Subaru WRX S4 model on the majority of the characteristics is similar to standard WRX S4, however received more rigid body, the changed settings of a suspender, and also forced turbocharged power unit with a working volume 2,0 liters which power was increased from initial 268 horsepower to 300, and the maximum torque from 350 Nm to 400 Nm. As transmission in Subaru will be used onlyWRX S4 Lineartroni variator with preset of seven ranges. The car will receive a modified front bumper with the integrated LED day running fires, a rear spoiler, and also updated mouldings on thresholds and a set of light alloy wheels with new design dimension of 18 inches.

Subaru WRX STI Type S will receive the same opposite turbine motor as the WRX S4 model, but with slightly other settings thanks to which it's maximum power will make 305 horsepowers, and the maximum torque of 421 Nm. As transmission in WRX STI Type S the six-step mechanical gear box with more accurate switchings will be applied. The exterior of Subaru WRX STI Type S received the same updatings as well as at WRX S4 — updated bumpers, mouldings on thresholds, optics and wheels. 

Interiors of both cars received sports chairs, decorative metal and carbonic inserts, and a new pressure control devices of a turbo-supercharging. Both models will be implemented in domestic market of Japan. About possible emergence of novelties in other world markets yet isn't reported.

0 Kia presented new Pro Ceed GT

The fastest in the history of Kia hatchback named Pro_Cee'd GT will be available in March of this year at the Motor Show in Geneva. As previously reported, the car will be equipped with the new petrol engine capacity of 1.6 liters, which is due to issue a supercharged 204 h.p and 265 Nm (together with the power unit will work the 6-step mechanics). Known and the dynamic characteristics of the machine - 0-100 km/h should take Pro_Cee'd GT 7,9 sec.

Kia pro_cee'd GT will be different from the less powerful versions, not only the engine and the beautiful nameplate. The car will receive more aggressive bumpers, a different grille, new 18-inch wheels, thanks to which you can see the red brake calipers. And in the interior will be a lot of sports bars: aluminum lining on the pedals, racing steering wheel, seats Recaro.

GT version will get not only the three-door version of the cee'd, but the five-door model also.

Toyota are globally renowned for their 4WD vehicles, a byword for ruggedness and practicality. Now they are continuing this tradition with their latest offroader, the Prado.

 

Offering a 3-door range (the SX and ZR) and a 5-door alternative (the GX, GXL, VX and the Kakadu), with flexible provision for up to 7 seats, the Prado range sports a stylish choice of eight colours (Crystal Pearl, Silver Pearl, Graphite, Metal Storm, Blue Storm, Ebony, Sandstone, Dark Furnace). So the Toyota Prado is impressive technologically and aesthetically. 

 

The SX, ZR and GX are powered by a belt-driven 4-cylinder in-line Turbo diesel engine, with a fuel consumption of 8.3 litres per 100km. Features include climate control, power windows, vanity mirrors and digitally controlled ventilation, all fitted as standard. Hydraulic power steering and cruise control are standard across the entire Prado range (the Kakadu and ZR have radar cruise control). Both models are automatic transmission only.

The GXL, VX and Kakadu are available in diesel and petrol versions. The specifications for the diesel engine are as for the 3-door models, but with slightly higher fuel consumption, and the diesel GXL and VX are available as manual or automatic. The Kakadu is automatic transmission only, however. The petrol engine is a big 6-cylinder 4-valve V6 with a fuel consumption of 8.8 litres per 100km, controlled by Toyota's Dual Variable Valve Timing with Intelligence. This is a system for providing optimum valve timing, improving fuel consumption and delivering an enjoyable driving-experience while reducing emissions. 

 

What makes the Toyota Prado really new is its advanced Driver Assisted Technology. The system has been updated with innovative additions to make driving both on and off road much easier and safer. 

 

Safety is paramount, and the Active Braking with Intelligence (AB-i) ensures sudden stopping in emergencies, thanks to sensors inside the wheels sending feedback to the braking system. Traction Control (TRC), operated by brake or throttle, makes acceleration on slippery or mixed surfaces much safer by locking any wheel that slides. Volkswagen is presented at the Auto Show in San Paulo, a new compact crossover concept called Taigun. The car, based on the compact Up!, reaches 3859 mm long, 1724 mm wide and 1559 mm high with a wheelbase of 2470 mm. Outwardly the car is executed in the general corporate Volkswagen style and reminds larger Touareg and Tiguan. By the way, the name of a new concept is an anagram of a name of the last and is urged to emphasize unambiguously the general style and target audience of a novelty — inhabitants of big cities. It is necessary to note also wide wheel arches, an angular form of forward headlights and back lamps, and also two exhaust pipes and the railing on a roof. Founders chose as firm color of a concept shade dark blue under the name Seaside Blue.

 

Saloon Volkswagen Taigun nominally designed for five passengers, although, as in the case of the Up!, can comfortably get a maximum of four. Interior design concept is also similar to a compact, the underlying, a modest, but tasteful. But the car boasts a decent amount of luggage - 280 liters. With the rear seats folded, it increases to 987 liters, which is pretty good for a car of this size.

Under the hood of Volkswagen Taigun housed more powerful version of one-liter three-cylinder engine, mounted on the Up!. Turbocharged engine with direct injection system is able to deliver 110 h.p and 175  Nm peak torque. The motor is paired with a 6-step mechanics. Acceleration to 100 km/h - 9.2 seconds, fuel consumption per 100 km - 4.7 liters. In this case, the car makers emphasize that the drive only the front, because the model is specifically designed for city driving.

 

The company made ​​a big bet on this model and expect to sell it since 2015 on global markets.

0 Citroen C4 Cross Hatchback

Company Citroen unveiled a crossover version of the model, called C4 Cross. The car is made based on the hatchback and designed for the Chinese market. One diesel engine - a 2.0-liter turbocharged unit, which has a capacity of 165 h.p and a maximum torque of 380 Nm. Depending on the version of the car will be aggregated 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic.

 

Cabriolet Cascada will be present in March 2013 on motor show in Geneva. Production of the car will begin spring of next year in the Polish city Gilwice. Later the company will report about the prices for a novelty.

Volkswagen company released the first images model Beetle of the new generation in a body coupe. The car, which presentation will take place during the Los Angeles Auto Show in November 2012, received a soft convertible top, which can be opened in 10 seconds. The line of engines Volkswagen Beetle will be presented by seven motors and won't differ from the base version. The 1,2-liter turbocharged petrol TSI motor in capacity of 105 h.p. becomes base, it will be followed by petrol engines of 1,4 TSI (160 h.p.) and 2,0 TSI (200 h.p.). Diesel engines will be presented by the 1,6-liter motor in capacity of 105 h.p. and the 2,0-liter engine which is giving out 140 h.p. Transmissions — 6-step mechanics or robotized box DSG with six or seven steps, depending on the engine.

 

At present time there are only the price of convertible Volkswagen Beetle new generation in Germany. They will begin with a mark of 21 350 euros. In Europe the car will be available to the order since November, 2012, and the European premiere of a novelty will take place in the spring of 2013.

Creation of conceptual Continental GT3 the Bentley company declared intentions to return to motor racing. The car is constructed according to FIA regulations, in a basis laid down serial Continental GT Speed.Maximum speed - 330 km/h, acceleration to 100 km/h - 4.2 seconds, to 160 km/h - 9.0 seconds. 

 

In the motion Bentley Continental GT3 Concept leads W-12 engine, which develops 625 h.p (at 6500 rpm) and a torque of 800 Nm, available between 2,000 and 5,000 rpm. Naturally lead back. Transmission - 8-speed.
