Honda company shared official information and photos of the American specification of Accord family of new generation. The car will be available in two types of a body: sedan and coupe. The car will be offered with a new 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that can give out 185 hp power and 245 Nm peak torque. The engine will be installed in conjunction with stepless CVT or 6-speed mechanics. Also new Honda Accord can be ordered with a 3.5-liter V6, has a capacity of 278 hp and a maximum torque of 342 Nm. This engine will be paired with a 6-step automatic or a 6-speed mechanics.Besides, in 2013 new Honda Accord will have also a hybrid modification. This car will be equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with capacity 137 hp, 120-kilowatt electric motor and will be only available in a body sedan. The total range of the hybrid Accord is 800 km, and on only one electrodraught the car can pass from 16 to 24 km and develop maximum 100 km/h.
List of equipment of the new Honda Accord is wide. Among other things, it will include a new multimedia and navigation system with 8-inch screen, front collision warning system FCW, a warning system to leave the band, the control system of dead zones, adaptive cruise control, six airbags, and LED headlights .
