Audi RS5 Cabrio at Paris Auto Show
Audi at the Paris Auto show presented a new RS5 Cabrio. Engine - atmospheric 4.2-liter FSI V8. Power - 450 horsepower. Torque - 430 Nm. Transmission - seven-step robot S tronic, working with a pair of clutches. The drive, of course - full. Crown limited slip differential by default divides the torque between the axles in the ratio of 40:60. But, depending on the conditions, it is able to transfer to the front axle and 70, and on the back - up to 85% thrust.
All this allows to achieve 100 km/h for 4.9 seconds only. But further acceleration is not sour - 200 km/h on the speedometer after only 12 seconds after the start. Top speed is limited to 250 km/h, but if you itching, manufacturer and dealers are able to move this line to 280 km/h.
Convertible top RS 5 Cabrio opens in 15 seconds and closes - for 17. And this is possible at speeds up to 55 kilometers per hour. Paraphernalia, certifying personality RS 5 Cabrio, - gray front spoiler match with frame windshield and mirrors, as well as standard 19-inch wheels with forged aluminum disks (optionally available 20-inch).
In Germany, the convertible starts at € 88 500. It goes on sale right after the Paris debut.
