The company Aston Martin disclosure information about the updated version of the model DB9. Car as before will be available in two versions: a coupe and convertible. Externally, the car after a facelift can be distinguished by a new hood, grille, and bumpers and other ducts. In general, the changes are minor, and they will pay attention only the most loyal fans of the brand. Much more engineers worked on the technical component of the car. So, the makers of processed engine block and head, increased the throttle body, as well as improved fuel pump and intake manifold.
As a result, 5.9-liter V12 engine now produces 517 h.p power and 620 Nm of torque, up 40 h.p and 20 Nm longer than it's predecessor. In addition, the engine is now placed slightly lower, which should have a positive effect on weight distribution vehicle. Aston Martin DB9 acceleration from standstill to 100 km/h faster up to 0.2 seconds, and is 4.6 seconds, while top speed is limited to the mark of 295 km/h.
In addition, now the supercar is the default in carbon-ceramic brake discs Brembo, so managed to save 12.5 kg. Also in the standard version DB9 appeared adaptive dampers. Finally, the car received a 20-inch alloy wheels, a camera with a circular view, carbon inserts in the cabin and logos DB9 on the seat headrests.
The official premiere of the updated Aston Martin DB9 will be held at the Paris Motor Show. Car sales will start in October 2012. In Europe, the supercar will be offered at a price of 174,994 euros.
