BMW has published the first official photos of the new coupe 6th series which premiere will pass in April on a showroom in Shanghai. The basic difference with the open version isn't present. But thus it is necessary to notice that the new generation of a coupe 6th series became hardly more than the predecessor (+75 mm). Besides, the car has appeared more widely (+39 mm), but the height has decreased for 5 mm. And still 6th have made more practical – in comparison with old model the luggage compartment volume has grown on 10 l and makes now very decent 460 l. At first BMW 6 Coupe begin to sell only with two petrol motors. The most simple car (an index 640i) will have the 3,0-liter unit with forced aspiration which gives out 320 h.p. and 450 Nm (and the maximum moment will be accessible in a huge range from 1300 to 4500 rpm).Despite a rank base, the similar coupe will be rather dynamical – acceleration time will occupy from 0 to 100 km/h only 5,4 sec. For comparison, more abrupt 650i with the 4,4-liter eight-cylinder motor (407 h.p.) will be dispersed to first hundred not much faster – for 4,9 sec. As to the maximum speed both there and there will be limited on a mark of 250 km/h.
