This car becomes continuation of design ideas which Lawrence van den Acker has sounded for the first time in last year's concept DeZir. Only if DeZir was a two-door coupe, Captur is already a crossover. And the Geneva car will be much closer to life. And it means that already soon Frenchmen can begin a batch production of similar model. According to preliminary data, Renault Captur will be equipped by the newest diesel engine with a double turbo-supercharging which will give out 160 h.p. and 380 Nm. Thus that the most interesting, in atmosphere this unit will throw out СО2 smaller 100/gr km. For comparison, hybrid Audi Q5 throws out 160/gr km.
