Representatives of Jaguar officially declared – in 2013 the batch production supercar C-X75 which will cost more than one million euros will begin. To create this car Jaguar engineers benefit from using the formula "stables» Williams F1 Team, which knows well how to create fast cars (by the way, there are persistent rumors that the Indian company Tata, which owns the brand and Jaguar, will soon come to Formula 1). In total Englishmen will construct 250 C-X75 (it is a small circulation, and explains such a high price). About 200 cars will have a hybrid power-plant which will unite the electromotor and the petrol unit in volume 1,6 l. Only 1,6? What is it a supercar?
But there no mistake, this is a supercar. The fact that the engine will be here not simple, but from the Formula 1, which from 2013 will switch to using the latest turbocharged four-cylinder units. Interestingly, that Jaguar C-X75 will be four-wheel drive - gasoline engine will transfer energy to the rear axle, and two electric motors will work not only on the rear axle, but also on the front. The total capacity of power plant C-X75 is not reported. One can only assume that the 1.6-liter unit will produce about 500 Hp. Although if this is true, then there is the question about reliability of the engine. For Formula 1 is enough to drive the motor a couple of races. A routine operation - something else entirely.
