Peugeot has presented the first photos of the concept SXC which will be shown general public in some days on a showroom in Shanghai. It is noteworthy that Peugeot SXC created directly in China in the new design studio Peugeot Style Studios, and the letters SXC stands for Shanghai Cross Concept. Peugeot SXC is a crossover - in recent years such models have become very popular in China. The length of the SXC is 4870 mm, it's quite a big car - for example, SXC much larger Peugeot 4007 (4635 mm). Thus, we can very likely to assume that SXC is the forerunner of a new midsize crossover, which will soon be replaced by 4007 (the latest model is just a copy of the Mitsubishi Outlander XL).For the movement concept is using power plant HYbrid4, which combines a diesel engine volume 1.6 liters (218 hp) and electric motor capacity 95 hp. The total installed power is 313 hp, and thanks to this power Peugeot SXC is an all-wheel drive model - diesel transmits it's power the front wheels and an electric motor - rear wheels. According to the manufacturer's average fuel consumption of 313-strong car is only 5.8 liters per 100 kilometers!
