Opel issued the first official photos of three-door version Astra which will appear on sale in second half of this year. As before, this model will be called Astra GTC. However till now technical features of a three-door car aren't known. Though here it's not necessary to wait for any revelations. Most likely, Astra GTC will receive hardly more rigid suspension in comparison with five-door Astra, and under a cowl the most modest motor in volume of 1,4 l (100 h.p.) will disappear.And yet there is no doubt that Astra GTC will be the basis of the fastest Astra OPC, which, according to preliminary data, will receive the engine power of 290 hp.
At least, such unit stood under a cowl last year concept GTC Paris which is like two peas in a pod similar to the production version.
