On a showroom in Shanghai Nissan has presented new generation of model Tiida – this car already soon should replace on the market present Tiida which is due to excellent value for money in great demand. On the assurances of representatives Nissan, new Tiida becomes more spacious the old car – the wheelbase will increase immediately to 100 mm, allowing Tiida will be perhaps the most spacious car in the class "C" on the European classification and one of the most comfortable. Outwardly the car not too strongly differs from the car exhausted now, though all body elements here absolutely new. But the interior becomes much better, and the car already in a basic set will receive weight of updates.
The base engine for new Tiida will be already good familiar to owners of Nissan engine in volume of 1,6 l which begins to give out 120 h.p. This engine will start to work both with mechanics, and with stepless variator. But the most interesting thing that Tiida will receive and turbocharged engine of the same volume which gives out 190 h.p.
One more novelty of Nissan at an exhibition in Shanghai was the small sports hatchback which has received name Compact Sport Concept (it is constructed on the basis of Micra). This car is a concept, but concept has a chance to go into production - the model will be positioned as hot hatchback, a youth-oriented. That's why this car is supposed to equip the 1,6-liter engine with turbo-supercharging (190 hp).
