New Kia called Naimo

Kia Naimo On a showroom opening today in Seoul Kia company has presented a prototype of the new compact crossover which will stand on a step more low Sportage. This model called Kia Naimo. The crossover name occurs from the Korean word Ne-mo, that means "square form". According to founders Naimo, at designing of the car they paid attention first of all to traditional Korean arts. "The neighbourhood of the simple and difficult is inherent in many traditional Korean art forms and crafts. In particular, style of the car was influenced by the Asian art of manufacturing products from celadon (view porcelaneous ceramics). It was showed in asymmetrical design of the hatch", – representatives of Kia assure. And in an inner trim the Korean oak is used and even a local paper«Han-ji»– she can be met on a ceiling.

But there is also a weight of innovations.
For example, Naimo has no traditional window wipers. Instead of them the powerful spray jets which are located in the base of a windshield and carrying out functions of air cleaners are used.

"Naimo – ideal balance between innovations, high technologies and the Korean traditions. Designers of this car were inspired, on the one hand, by traditional Korean art and crafts, with another – the current technologies", – Peter Schreyer, the main designer of Kia said.
